Document 112 of the Moscow Helsinki Group (CCE 55.10-2) reports that the authors of the anonymous samizdat document “Results of the Enrolment of School Leavers from Six Moscow Schools in the Mechanics & Mathematics Faculty of Moscow State University” (CCE 53.31 [3]) are the mathematicians Boris Kanevsky and Valery Senderov (feature photo).

Corrections to the English edition

CCE 46, 51 & 54

Gilbert should read Hilbert (CCE 46.9); Sirvinski should read Širvinskas (CCE 46.23-2).

The Little Land (CCE 51.19-1) is probably a reference to a volume of President Brezhnev’s memoirs, which has this title (malaya zemlya, Малая земля).

Vosiulaite and Vosiulis should read Vosiliute and Vosilius (CCE 54.18).
