The tenth issue of the Chronicle gave a brief account of the “Programme [of the Democrats of Russia, the Ukraine and the Baltic States]” [CCE 10.13, item 11]). This review must be considered unsatisfactory.
The analysis of the contemporary international situation and the socio-political picture of the world presented in the programme cannot of course be considered “exhaustive”, as the tenth issue of the Chronicle rashly stated. The combination of words “comprehensive analysis’” smacks of dogmatism. The problems of the modern world are inexhaustible in their variety and complexity, and they certainly cannot be exhausted by any programme whatsoever. The programme only expresses the views of a certain group of people.
