<<No 44 : 16 March 1977>>

Vasily Fedorenko was earlier in prison not as a political prisoner, as written in CCE 38, but, on several occasions, for common crimes.

The newspaper Voice of Russia (July 1976), which carried the article “Madame Bonner: Sakharov’s Evil Genius?” (CCE 43) was sent not only to Sakharov, but also to several of his colleagues at the USSR Academy of Sciences. In the same issue congratulations were printed to its editor Yakhontov on his being awarded the ‘Friendship of Peoples’ Order.
