The first 11 issues of the Chronicle were translated into English, annotated and published in 1972 as Uncensored Russia.
The translator-editor, Peter Reddaway reorganized the contents into thematic chapters. These issues appeared in English for the first time in their original form on this website. It was launched in September 2015.
Before Amnesty International started, from No. 16 onward, to translate and publish each issue of the Chronicle, Dr. Reddaway translated the intervening four issues (12-15) and circulated them in typescript form. They were published for the first time ever on this website.

NOTES
[1] The date on the front page of each issue of the Chronicle refers NOT to the date of ‘publication’ (release, circulation) but the closing date of the verified information contained within.
[2] The publication date column refers both to the book Uncensored Russia (1972) and the launch of the website in September 2015.
